In the 2013 Budget, the Chancellor announced the Growth Voucher Programme, a scheme to deliver subsidies to help small businesses access specialist business support. At JF Financial our focus is very much on being accountants for micro / small businesses so any support like this gets our backing.

£30 million has been provided for the project which will allow businesses to apply for up to £2,000 to fund strategic advice regarding digital technology, marketing, managing cash flow or developing employee skills.

Small businesses who have been trading for at least one year, have fewer than 50 employees and who have not sought strategic business advice in the last three years will be eligible to apply for funding. The advisors eligible to provide subsidised advice under this project must be a member of one of the approved professional bodies, including UK IT Association (UKITA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Here at JF Financial, we are eligible as we are registered under CIMA.

The voucher can pay for up to 50% of the cost of the advice that you receive.
